Ready for an unforgettable weekend? On March 4-6th, the City of Auburn, NY will be celebrating the women of the burgeoning craft beverage industry at Brave Brews. You can expect live music, national guest speakers, local bites, the women trailblazers of the craft beverage industry, and, of course, upstate New York’s finest brews throughout this weekend’s festivities.
With spring on the horizon, come out and enjoy this exciting weekend-long event, inspired by the Pink Boots Collaboration Brew Day® event that Auburn’s Prison City Brewing owner Dawn Schulz has hosted for the past four years. From meet-and-greets to brunches to tasting walks—we’ve got a little something for everyone.
With its flourishing craft beverage and brewery scene, rich cultural history, and, of course, the natural beauty of the Finger Lakes region, Auburn is the perfect backdrop for this annual festival. The city’s abundant cuisine and beverage options will be on full display for both Auburn natives and weekend visitors to enjoy.
It’s no coincidence that Brave Brews is happening on the weekend of International Women’s Day, and where better a place to host than Auburn, NY? Auburn—aptly nicknamed History’s Hometown—was home to countless inspiring, trailblazing women throughout history, including Harriet Tubman, Frances Seward, and Martha Coffin Wright.
You won’t want to miss out on the weekend’s exclusive events. Spend your Friday night enjoying a 5-course craft beer dinner with Jackie Dodd Mallory, AKA The Beeroness. Then get your sneakers on for Saturday’s Drink Like A Girl® 1 mile Craft Beer Tasting Walk, featuring a special guest appearance from Harlem Brewing Company founder, Celeste Beatty!
Plus, we’ll be wrapping up the weekend with an unforgettable finale: Prison City’s Fire & Ice Festival, featuring roaring fire pits, live music, food trucks, entertainment, and a wine, beer, & spirits tasting from your favorite local spots, including:
