AIDA (Auburn Industrial Development Authority) was established by a New York State Legislature act in 1969 as a public benefit corporation to serve private sector industrial and business development opportunities.
AIDA encourages economic growth through financial incentives. Whether helping to establish a new business or expand existing ones, we provide the needed resources to create job opportunities that contribute to a healthy and prosperous economic environment.
Over the years, AIDA has been a leading force in the economic development field of Auburn, New York. We have helped attract and retain innovative businesses including NUCOR Steel, Currier Plastics, and the Auburn Community Hotel (Hilton Garden Inn) and grow vital companies such as Community Computer Services, Wegman’s Food Markets, Auburn Armature, Inc., and Carovail.

Paying for Parking
All parking has a rate of $2 per hour between 9am and 5pm Monday through Saturday. Parking is FREE outside of these hours. Fees can be paid for via the Pango Mobile app, at one of the limited kiosks in the downtown core, or a voucher can be purchased at the Equal Rights Heritage Center.
On-Street & Short-Term Parking
On-street spaces have a 2-hour limit. On-street parking is available on Loop Road, Dill Street, State Street, Genesee Street, and South Street between Genesee and Loop. Spots on Genesee Street between Loop Road and the Cayuga County Office Building (160 Genesee Street) are reverse angle parking. All other spots are parallel parking.
Long Term Parking
Find long term parking in the center of downtown at the Lincoln Street Garage across from the Equal Rights Heritage Center. The garage is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Parking lots are also available at Court Street, Dill Street, and Seminary Avenue.
