AIDA Seeking Consultants to Provide Fiscal and Economic Analysis of Projects

The Auburn Industrial Development Authority (AIDA) is creating a list of qualified firms that can provide technical analysis on an on-call basis. Specifically, AIDA now requires applicants seeking to deviate from the PILOT schedules defined in the Authority’s Uniform Tax Exemption Policy (UTEP) to procure third-party verification of the justification for the deviation. This could come in the form of one or more of the following assessments, as requested by the board of directors: Test of Reasonableness; Economic Impact Analysis; Fiscal Impact Analysis.
